The latest step in my apparently inexorable policy shift from “I must do everything myself” to “I should let others to do things for me”: I’ve switched from hosting my own Gallery to letting Flickr host all my photos. Advantages: absolutely amazing interface - both from the human side and the API side, metadata capabilities up the wazoo, and unlimited storage that they’re responsible for backing up. And it’s cheap, too.
